so a few days ago i picked up my first western hoggie and so far its been all fun and games, so without further ado, here is the pictures:

hes a boy and pretty much fully grown at just over 2ft (judging against the size of him in the viv)

im not convident enough to mess around with this snake yet but im getting there either way, ive found a way of introducing myself to him without causing any stress what so ever, i open the vivarium when hes most active and then i put my hand on the plastic sliders and let him take a "sniff" of my hand and if he wanted to, come onto my hand and be held, i leave the choice completely upto him

He looks like he's got a good setup, and is clearly a healthy looking lad.
Good luck with the beastie, you may find a few differences as you go with him in comparison to other snakes. Then again you may not.
Hoggies are brilliant little animals for changing their minds about things.
