Can anybody help pls,I am new to Hognose snakes and I'm looking to grow my current collection but I look for hognoses online and get confused by the language lol,it's the het. and various colouration names, albinos ,reds etc etc . Can anybody explain pls as I've been looking for albino (orange coloured one)and people contact me who have what they describe as 100per cent het albino but are same colour as normal Hognose(ie. reddish spots with creamy background)Ty for your help

Basically if a hognose is 100% het albino the snake would look normal but it means it carries the albino gene so if this snake was bred to an albino or another het albino they would produce some albino, some het albino and some normal snakes.
So if you want an orange albino then that's what you need to buy, buying a het would mean you would have a snake that appears normal but does carry the albino gene

Ty so much for reply,so basically if it was 100% het albino and bred with normal Hognose the albino trait would get weaker? Also do most people obtain papers for this to prove their snake has these traits? Ty for your time
