this is my first ever snake. got my hog on monday.tried to feed him pinkies on thursday. he wasnt interested.should i be concerned. i even cut the brain on the pinkie as i read on other sites or is it just to soon cos hes only been with me a few days.im gonna try him again on saturday.i think im rushing things and he needs to settle in a bit more. any thoughts . cheers

Its normally adviseable to let them settle in for week. Also how big is the enclosure you have him in? As Hoggies are a little bit agoraphobic (hope thats how you spell it), meaning they can become stressed out in too large a space.

ive got him in a small plastic box until hes bigger. the temps are good as well.thanks for the input

its a him so this time of year they are picky feeders leave it another 7 days till you try again
