Hello,
I have a male hognose, one and a half year old. I am feeding him once a week, 2 pinky mouses. He is about 40cm long. Do you have any advices, is this feeding sufficient? What are your advices on it? |

you could probably try a small fuzzy but hoggies seem to prefer smaller pray items. i have feed my hoggie 3 pinkies before but as soon as he had done three he went onto fuzzies |

I was thinking about either a fuzzy either go put him onto 3 pinkies. Because I have noticed, that after eating 2, he keeps searching for more. Maybe it is his natural behavior, so I rather asked... The "problem" about getting a fuzzy seems to me that his head is rather small (male), so I wouldn't want to exaggerate with prey's size. So maybe to put him on 3 pinkies for a month or so, and then switch to fuzzy seems like an OK idea?

But I have a photo...recent one...just for better feeling of his size.
Oh that I know, how big they can open their jaws...but still :D
