Hello,

I have also just re-homed a 3 yr old female hognose! She seemed quite active at first but this week she is hiding and rarely comes out. Is this normal? Is she just missing her old home? Or does she just not like the way I smell!!
(she has eaten her first mouse with me, that must be a good thing right?)

Any help hints or tips gratefully received!

Carolyn

hi and welcome.
the hiding away could be due to digesting the meal or has gone into shed. either yaw dont worry about it she will come out when she is ready

They usually take a while to settle in too, so I wouldn't worry. Usually the first sign of anything wrong is that they stop eating, so taking a mouse is a good sign
