Hi

We have just re-homed a 3 year old female and have a few questions.

Is there anything we can do to help her settle in, it must be quite daunting with all the new smells and sights.

Should we give her a bit of time to settle before getting her out, or do you think the sooner she gets to see up close her new home the better?

Do you ever get used to her headbutts? They have made us jump as she is super quick.

Thanks

Bergy

leave her alone for seven days only change the water. then try her with food if she takes it leave he 48hours to digest then you can start to handle her to start of with i wouldnt handle for more than 10mins twice a week.

as far as the head butting goes she might calm down when she is settled. but just remember its all bluff.

I agree with Sexychef

After the settling in period, regular handling should help with the head butting
