Been thinking of getting a hog, already have a royal python (yearling)whos in a 3ft viv but short on space, would a hog and a python be able to share a viv??? advice please.

i personaly would never keep 2 different species together. they have different needs so keep them seperate.

if you want yor hoggy for more than 20 minutes then dont put it in with a python or any other sort of snake. i wouldnt recomend house two of the same species together let alone two very diffrent size snakes. if you have no room then dont get any more snakes until you have the room.

a fully grown hognose will only need the maxium of about a 1'6"x1'6" viv.

I agree - the size difference is immense so defintiely not recommended.

In fact, some people won't keep snakes in the same viv as other snakes of their own species, nevermind of a different one. It's not worth the risks.
