Posted - 03/05/2010 : 20:43:02 Excuse the rather dodgy subject title, but my female hoggy has blessed us with a clutch of ten eggs which are now in the incubator. I've read that females can store sperm and potentially produce another clutch without further mating. If this is the case would anyone recommend leaving the humid nest box in her viv just in case or would this probably be a waste of time? Thanks - Andy |

I left a lay box in with my female cresties the whole season because sometimes they will lay (duds) without being bred and it's good to have a safe spot to do it in.
I'm sure the experts will chime in tho. |
