They are great, Barks pets in Liverpool. They are by far the best in Liverpool, always nice and clean, the guy in there breeds Royals as well, and has said he'll give us a hand with Caramac if we get into bother, it's really handy because there is only one rep vet in Liverpool and he charges £26 for a consultation, so for the little things it's a bit ridiculous. :)

are they a good pet shop, coz i live quite close to there?

Sounds like you have a great local pet shop there

Me too- sounds like you've got a good one there.

Hope he feeds after his shed, although promising him another holiday won't work. He might not eat on purpose, thinking that it will be Scarborough this time

that's fantastic news, i think the pet shop should be named and famed for their help and support

Hogtanian is home with us now :) He is lovely and tubby again, and he has gone blue, hopefully once he's shed all of his skin off he'll start eating again withough the press, although i went to the shop and watched them press feed him today when i picked him up and he honestly didn't look that phased at all, no hissing or cobra-ing, and once he was fed he just went back into his little hide and curled up, unlike the milks which really looked like it could hurt them the way they were thrashing around and spraying musk all over the place. Any way he's fed up enough to give us 2 weeks to try and get him feeding naturally and if that fails he will be going back to the pet shop for another holiday, and so the cycle continues untill i have been taught, and practiced press feeding (i had my first look today). The guy is really confident that he will start feeding on his own eventually as he has no physical issues, he's just a lazy little thing. The pet shop has been brilliant though, they are doing all of this without even charging me a penny not even for food, so i'm super super greatful :) Just thought i'd give you all a little update.

Thanks Matty, i'm pleased, even if he did need to be fed with a press, i think that's kinder than having to have a whole prey item force fed. :)

Thats great news

Update: Hog-t refused 2 normal feeds, so the man gave him a pinky press feed, he didn't sick it up and is wiggling around nicely! He is going to have one every day except saturday and sunday, i'm going to pick him up on tuesday :)
