Posted - 24/10/2011 : 14:07:16 Hey all,
Finally gotten over CaRDiaK's death a few months back, my first pet, a non feeding Hognose.
Tracked this little guy down (and a feeding record!) and he had his first feed Saturday! He's never missed now, I feel so happy and glad that it showed I wasn't doing anything wrong with my first, he just wasn't to be.
Anyway, introducing Cthulhu!

Posted - 24/10/2011 : 23:43:22 Yes Cthulhu was created by H.P Lovecraft, one of my favourite authors. He is one of the 'Elder Gods' a humanoid octopus-dragon thing - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu The pronunciation is somewhat ambiguous.
Great name!

Posted - 24/10/2011 : 17:30:18 Wow, he's lovely. So glad you managed to get another one and the death of your first hoggy didn't put you off the species. I think Cthulhu is some sort of HP Lovecraft reference, or have I got that completely wrong?? Could also be Pratchettian... |
