One of the replies say's its ok for an occassional treat, but not good on a regular basis.

I may be tempted to give this a go, as Horace is one of the greedy boys and has eaten every time I've offered... also apparently hognoses have been known to eat eggs in the wild (probably not hard boiled though) ....but I have to say even if I do try and he does take it, I don't think I would do it any more than maybe once every 4/6 months or so... mainly only protein and fats in an egg so not enough of the other food sources for my liking....

He did seem to enjoy it though...

I would think that boiling the egg would take out all the yummy goodness. In the wild they would eat them raw (and probably from something a lot smaller than a chicken)
