That is madness, I have to mess about fish scenting pinkys and this fella wants to eat a rat 100 times his own weight lol |

Just looked actually and according to the records she hatched on the 28th August last year. She's very dinky though, only ever had 9 feeds until she came to me in December, but has eaten nearly every week since I've had her. She's got a voracious appetite as you can see. In fact stupid me went to pick her up to move her to the rat just after taking the first pic. Stupid me forgot that my fingers had been on a rat smelling bit of wet towel. Stupid me picked her up with the left hand. In the 2nd photo she did actually have her chops well and truly round my pinkie finger, but very hard to see in that pic. Feeding is no problem with her now.
The other one is a total different story, he'll eat each week but I HAVE to wiggle the pinkie and move it around a bit so it can basically be stalked and hunted down by the snake.
/ninja edit
Just to clarify, I done this and wasted a rat to show her feeding response and that snakes will try to eat anything regardless of size. The rat was binned after this as it might've contained venom. It wouldn't give up trying to eat the rat, to the point that it's pinkie meals that I had prepared for it were being overlooked because of it's insistence to eat the lovely big dinner. When the rat and snake eventually were split, it ate the pinkies happily. |

Did do a small documentation of it. She wasn't attached for long, minute maybe. Did hurt actually, more than I thought it would. Being tagged and chewed by my kings was nothing compared to that. But it was also in the little wrinkle of my pinkie so a bit more sensitive as well. Pics/info to follow soon. |

Fool snake! I wish my hoggy had such a good feeding response but he's just not interested most of the time! |
