Hi there!
I got a male hoggie given to me last year, a little 2010 and he'd not eaten AT ALL for me until tonight so i'd all but given up hope after trying every trick out there....seems all he wanted was to brumate for a month and then come back
So here I am, and here is little Batman:

Hi and welcome, Batman is a real cutie, so glad he has eaten for you. I tried to get Matilda to sit on my hand but she wouldn't stay still LOL :) |

Hiya and welcome. Glad to hear that Batman has finally eaten, they are terrors with the changing minds about feeding.
/ninja edit Just looked at your profile, says you're going back to Jersey in the summer. Do you still have to get an import certificate to bring the snakes in?? I was speaking to someone a while back and he said he had to get an import certificate to get the snakes in, he had CITES protected snakes as well, apparently that was a lot more difficult.
Just asking out of curiosity more than anything.
/ninja'd again. Quick oogley search brings this up: http://www.gov.je/Travel/TravellingPets/Pages/ReptileAmphibian.aspx |

Thanks guys!
Yes I need an import permit from Jersey for EVERY snake I take back....and an additional CITES permit for all snakes that are protected under the CITES act :) I've taken boas over before so I know the gist of it....lots of organising! lol |

If it's not to awkward, can I ask you to take a few pics of the documents and give a bit of info on what's required to do so. Would be nice to have that info, provided you don't mind doing it for us.

Welcome to the forum - Batman is really cute, and it looks like he's a bit of a poser too! |
