Hiya guys, could do with some advice please, Frank, my gorgeous little hoggie has been off his food for a while, not really concerned as maintaining his weight but what i have noticed is that he is constantly tryin to escape (or seems to be looking for a way out of his viv) when i have him out, he is fine, quite happy to explore or just sit with me. Any ideas?? (nothing has changed in his viv, temps all fine, but he is just comin up to 12mth old)

Funny you should say that. My hoggy has also been off his food and keeps constantly planning the great escape
His temps are perfect, he has plenty of hiding places and enjoys snuggling up when hes out. I thought it was just mine but its interesting to read that yours is doing the same. Hopefully someone might be able to explain this strange behaviour which is slowly making me paranoid.

Snakes do tend to have varying behaviour at different times of the year.

If there is really no change I wouldn't worry too much, it's probably nothing.
