I'll let you know when I find out or you could sell me your male and I'll return the favour once I've got some established cb hatchlings . |

That's not a blonde. If what they have posted on their pricelist, Leioheterodon gaeyi, is correct for what they have there then it is a malagasy speckled. The malagasy blonde is Leioheterodon modestus. I'm still gonna give 'em a ring though and get them to describe it to me. £74.95 is a fair price if it turns out to be L. modestus. Cheers for the heads up Dave .
Embarressing question time. What does LTC stand for?
Edit: Just looked LTC up. So it is probably wc but been in captivity for quite some time. |

Yeah I spotted that as well, as you say the blonde is modestus. The chap I spoke to described the snake and it sounded like a blonde ie olive/bronze colour yeah LTC is long term captive so basically wild caught still disadvantages and advantages is likely to have had any parasite issues cleared and theoretically less likely to come with any nasty deseases disadvantage dont know how long LTC and how old caught so as we are both looking to breed could be older or it could be one that they have tried breeding and is shooting blanks dont know but the price is excellent I paid 125 and thought that was a good price |

As far as im aware, to class a snake as a LTC, it only has to be in captivity for 3 months. |
