hi,could anyone tell me what a good size for a male hognose is mine is about a year old and about 12-14in long i know they are a lot smaller than females but all sites i've been on just tend to give lengths of female snakes thanks,alan

all snakes grow at different rates as long as its feeding well and putting on wieght it should be fine. males top out around the 2foot mark.

I have adult males at that length weighing in at about 100gms, my largest is about 19 inches.

males are pains for not eating mi'thinks- no wonder they don't grow as big
