i was attempting to pop my hoggie today as i baught him as a boy but think hes a girl, however i seems his anal scale is stuck shut, is this something that can happen, he refused a feed this week too wich is really unlike him.
Sounds a bit odd - I would get him/her to the vet if you suspect a problem of this nature. Could he/she have retained a bit of old skin over the anal scale at the last shed? If the snake can't poo because of this, it might not be too keen to eat, which might explain it. Do let us know how you get on.
