hi all just wondering whats the difference between the western and a mexican hoggie. the one i have got today was marked up as a mexican any thoughts

no one got any ideas? i will get some pics up asap, it is a male and he weighs 81g as im not up on hog morphs id also like to know what colour he is classed as. my 2 babies are normal westerns and fluffy is a brick red colour.

Courtesy of Wikipedia, the Mexican hognose's official name is Heterodon kennerlyi, as opposed to the Western which is Heterodon nasicus. So there is obviously some difference between the two, but there isn't any more detail on Wiki about what the differences might be! It'd be great to see some pics so we can see what the Mexican variety looks like

I believe it is to do with the scales on the head.

fluffy went into shed so sorry i have taken so long with pics but there are now some in the photo section, any thoughts on fluffy and his colour very much appreciated
