I bought a pair of albino hognoses and they were delivered yesterday , the female is fine but I think the male has an ri. He has some crusty stuff around his nose and he is breathing with his mouth open. I was thinking he is probably a bit run down after being in a box over night he was very cold and he's in blue so he's about to shed. I'm hoping he will get over it by himself after he sheds. Obviously if he doesn't I will take him to the vet. But I was wondering if you have to give him the baytril injections yourself ? Or does the vet do them every couple of days ?

Also he might improve once he's warmed up a bit, but obviously do take him to the vet if he doesn't get better - as you were going to anyway!

Probably just due to the shed to be honest.
