Posted - 02/06/2011 : 18:57:16 well had grace for a couple of months now, she's only 17g, never missed a feed and shed really well, she is a ferocious feeder to say the least, took her out earlier to feed as usual but this time i had fed my sons corn first, she musta been able to smell the mouse ( i never handle the prey cos of smelling like it and being mistaken) as soon as i had lowered her into the feeding rub i looked to where i had put the mouse and tongs, looked back and she was hanging off my middle finger knuckle!!! i didnt even feel it! couldnt get a pic as phone was on the other side of the room too, gutted! it took her about a min to realise she couldnt eat me and let go, only a tiny pin prick where she got me, think it was a 'dry' bite. aww bless her, i think she was hungry! but she had def bitten off more than she could chew this time! |
