I am considering buying my first reptile and I would like a western hognose snake.. I don't want to be ripped off so coild somebody tell me the usual price of the snake itself?  |

yup same prices here too i paid 45 from a breader but have seen them as much as 130 in rep/pet shops |

I got my Piglet direct from a local breeder for £45. Though when I've seen them in reptile shops usually priced between £100 and £150. Hope this helps  |

Get it from a breeder and you shouldnt pay any more than £40.
Where do you live? There might be a breeder in a town nearby :-)

most shops range from £80 to £100 pound and if you get a mexican hognose which are basically the same they range from £100 upwards. i got my hognose for £30 from the kempton park reptile expo. if you can get to doncaster reptile expo there will probably be some cheap hognoses |

Depends where you get it, but I think about £80 is an average price to pay in a pet shop, and maybe a bit less if you get it directly from the breeder. |
