Posted - 21/09/2011 : 09:49:47 I picked up this boy at Doncaster show on Sunday, not sure who I bought him from but there were about 50 of them to choose from including normals, albinos, het albinos and extreme reds, a few were fussy feeders or had kinks, so I had to sift through a fair few before I set eyes upon this little guy! So without further ado, here he is!
I think from now on I will feed him outside of his tub or put kitchen towel in there or something, as I don't want him to accidentally eat any aspen! I also haven't though of any names for him yet, so any suggestions welcome! I did think of 'Digit' yesterday because he looks a bit like a thumb!! |

LOL Phalange! It always reminds me of Phoebe from Friends! That's a cool idea with the state names :) I've still not named him yet! I just call him Hoggywog for the time being haha. |

Posted - 23/09/2011 : 09:58:07 Thanks everyone! Haha the only reason he reminds me of a thumb/finger is because he's the same thickness all the way down like a finger is! The day before I bought him I was holding another one and I said 'If I ever got one I'd call it The Thumb' lol, but I feel a bit mean calling him The Thumb or Thummy or something haha. I quite like Digit, but I have a frog called Diglett and they sound a bit similar. No theme for names, I've got all sorts of random names like Akiko, Poppy, Duende, Icarus, stuff like that. so anything goes really! |
