Posted - 05/02/2009 : 22:57:24 You actually got to speak/contact with Barry? I've never been successful getting hold of the man, I have to use email most of the time because I'm hearing impaired but folk tell me he's a nice guy once you get hold of him lol

Here's a link to a stateside breeder who has a totally different looking hognose classed as Mexican, looks nothing like mine or others listed here in lies the confusion. He also has examples of hypo on there too for you to compare to your guys http://www.cuttingedgeherp.com/hognose/list.nhtml
I find males to be a bit slow sometimes over their feeding, when they're doing badly I take their water away for a couple of days before a feed then offer them very wet food. I rub their food under their chins it seems to stimulate them to open their mouths and drink the water from dinner then eat it. |

Posted - 05/02/2009 : 11:16:57 thanks all quote: Did you get the 2 poss hypo's from penfold
hi mandie, no,(i got the albino off him) I think one is a bit hypoish, only about 50grms currently and not feeding very well, was hoping to use him to breed with the jungle, I will see if he gets going, will only eat large pinks/small fuzzies when he can be bothered. If not I will use my other male who has started feeding after being cooled. From what I have been told the jungle is not proven yet??
