I'm fascinated by snakes eyes. They look fixed in one position but if you get the lighting right you can see how they dart about and take in the surroundings.
If you ever get a chance to see a Gaboon viper, the eyes are easy to see and will amaze you at how they look around constantly. Dugs eyes look black and lifeless under normal light.
