Posted - 19/01/2011 : 15:28:52 It sounds as if he's normal - there will be a bit of give in there, but as long as it feels more muscular than flabby, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about. I would ideally be feeding my hoggy every 6-7 days if he would eat properly, so think you are probably doing the right thing. |

Posted - 18/01/2011 : 16:36:59 its the underside of his belly, its not squidgy when hes crawling around in my hands, just when i poke his belly (i only done this to check, not to annoy him :P ). im only really comparing it to my cornsnakes which are completely different, but ill get a photo in a few days after his food has gone down.
with regards to an appropriate feeding schedule for him, i am feeding him a fuzzy every 6 days the same as my corns. is this fine or a bit too soon?
thanks |

Posted - 17/01/2011 : 09:21:47 Is this his underside or the sides of his belly? I don't think they're supposed to be too soft to the touch, so he might be a bit overweight, but can you post a photo so we can see what it looks like? |
