are hognose snakes meant to have squidgy bellys? im just wondering as mine does and im wondering if this is normal for these type of snakes

It sounds as if he's normal - there will be a bit of give in there, but as long as it feels more muscular than flabby, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
I would ideally be feeding my hoggy every 6-7 days if he would eat properly, so think you are probably doing the right thing.

its the underside of his belly, its not squidgy when hes crawling around in my hands, just when i poke his belly (i only done this to check, not to annoy him :P ). im only really comparing it to my cornsnakes which are completely different, but ill get a photo in a few days after his food has gone down.

with regards to an appropriate feeding schedule for him, i am feeding him a fuzzy every 6 days the same as my corns. is this fine or a bit too soon?

Is this his underside or the sides of his belly? I don't think they're supposed to be too soft to the touch, so he might be a bit overweight, but can you post a photo so we can see what it looks like?
