Posted - 13/12/2010 : 13:01:26 That's interesting, because hoggies do eat eggs in the wild, so it could be worth trying that... |

Posted - 13/12/2010 : 11:53:49 my hogggie would not eat for 5 months. i tried everything an i mean everything an the only thing that has been succesful is defrosting the mouse dipping its head in egg then in boiling water to set it. He took it straight away no problems, but then he does love egg lol
hope this helps, worked like a charm for me |

Posted - 15/11/2010 : 18:18:05 I would imagine frogs would be expensive because they arent too easy to find, frog scenting would mean you could eventually get your little thing eating mice. :) So this would be my name, find frogs or frogs legs or something froggy and scent, because once on frogs she wont ever eat mice. They can be such fussy little things. :P Tiffany-x |

Posted - 15/11/2010 : 15:10:29 I have to say, I've never seen any frozen toads for sale in my local pet shops, but I believe they can sometimes be found under the name of "hoppers"! Cod liver oil scenting can work sometimes, or do you live near a deli that sells frog's legs? I've heard you can scent with those but I've never tried it myself. |
