Hi.
I'm about to welcome my first hoggie, and want what's best for it.
My question is this: Will Exo Terra's "Desert Sand" http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/desert_sand.php be a proper bedding for it?
Know they are found of digging og burying themselves, but also that not all types of sand are equally suitable...

Hope you'll answer.
Sika

Aspen is good, but I also use a sort of pulped paper bedding, which is also quite good for digging and seems to very popular with my hog!

Okay and yes I found that out.
Bought a bag of Exo Terra's "Desert Sand", but it's fine like flour, so I won't use it...
Though he loved it, it stuck to him, and he got red all over... Will find something not so fine :/

I just use aspen or auboise.

I think some people do use sand, but apparrently it can be ingested and can irritate the eyes.

Aspen is good for digging too
