Posted - 09/01/2010 : 12:52:38 im still trying to git this heat mat to the rite temp bt i cant seem 2!!! ive gt it pluged in to a habbistat but im still only giting 29-30oc. i turnd up the stat but it stayed the same!! im useing one of those plastis tanks fufarium i fink its called!! do u fink if i cover up some of the vents around the sides it would raise the temp??? |

Posted - 13/01/2010 : 12:43:47 i had the stat turnd rite up to 34 but the temp didnt change!! i moved the probe dwn a bit and nw its worken perfect! |

They aren't quite accurate if you go with the temp on the dial, so i'd advise turning it up to about 33-34C and monitoring the 'real' temperature with a digital thermometer in the tank. |

Posted - 09/01/2010 : 15:24:01 its quite easy just get a rub then transfer everything out the faun into the rub sit the rub on the heatmat and put thermostat probe in the rub place lid on the rub and your set. It will hold the heat a lot better. regards nick |
