Posted - 09/11/2009 : 13:38:48 I've been bitten by one! My Baldrick nipped me when I was feeding him once, he just missed the food and got my finger instead, so there was no serious intent behind it. It didn't hurt at all because his mouth is too tiny to fit around my big sausagey finger, and his little fangs didn't make contact with me. He let go as soon as he realised I wasn't food! |

Posted - 21/09/2009 : 13:58:45 I've not actually been bitten by one (or know anyone who has been bitten by one), but it's the venom you need to worry about if you are bitten.
They are very unlikely to bite, because they generally head butt, hiss and play dead before biting, but as they are mildly venomous if they bite properly then you could be allergic to it. They would have to bite hard though because they are rear fanged, so you should only be envenomed if you allow it to knaw on you |
