Posted - 21/09/2009 : 14:36:42 I agree - my hoggy didn't eat for about 9-10 weeks when he first came to us. I think they are just easily thrown off food, but usually start again if you keep trying. |

Posted - 16/09/2009 : 09:42:34 Any reptile moved can and regularly do go off their feed, whilst others start feeding again!
I've got Hognose here that have come to me as non feeders only to offer them a feed the same day and bang they take it after their owners have spent 6 or more mths trying to get them feeding.
One of the most bizzare tricks that works with just about any reptile is taken out for a drive in the car. Don't worry for a few wks it really is normal, some of mine go off feeding when I move them into a new cage when I'm having a sort out usually takes them a mth to start feeding again. |
