Posted - 09/10/2010 : 04:06:26 Been a hognose mom for 6 years. Still trying to figure out if male or female. Was told male but my vet just recently tried to probe and told me they thought it was female. With only one (for now)it is harde to compare. Any ideas would be great. Thank you |

Posted - 14/10/2010 : 01:14:31 Thank you. I did find out that he is definately a male. The vet did say they haven''t probe many snakes and went to the best in town. |

Posted - 13/10/2010 : 16:46:03 I'd say that probing by a qualified person is the best way to tell if you don't have a known male/female to compare with. Perhaps another vet might be able to give a second opinion if you're not confident about the one you've already tried? |
