Posted - 05/08/2010 : 21:52:35 Hello!
Just found this place after looking for Hognose info and breeders.
Despite having lots of lizards and newts/salamanders over the years and looking after a friend's boa i've never actually had a snake (i prefer herps with legs!), yet there's something very endearing about the hognose. The missus loves snakes so i have decided to buy a nice chubby little hognose.
I only have one other herp at the moment, my leopard gecko Ali who is about 15 years old. Not quite sure how she'll like having a lively little snake living opposite her but we'll see how it goes!
Also, if there's any breeders in the Lancashire area i'd love to know. My local shop (which is excellent) has quoted me £110 but it will vary week to week, don't know what i should be paying as i'm new to the world of snakes

Posted - 12/08/2010 : 16:18:29 Hello! £110 does seem to be a bit on the pricey side. There'll be a breeder's expo at Doncaster Dome in September if you can travel there - you shoudl be able to find a hoggy there for a better price. |
