Posted - 19/02/2013 : 18:33:24 Hiya all, I've finally popped over here after being on TCS for a year or so. Got daughter a hognose for her birthday at the start of the month and we are very pleased with him, always out burrowing around, so different to the corns which we rarely see out!
Names are still a little variable, he was going to just be Hoggy but the latest is Hogster, although I heard her calling him Hogstee earlier... I get the feeling he'll be getting a new name every few weeks lol.
I'm not on the PC with the pics at the moment, so will put some pics on later when I can get on the other PC |

Actually he's being a right little git at the moment! He was a bit tricky to start with, then he ate when we tubbed him overnight - 3 feeds in a row no problem... then he stopped again :( He also sems to have morphed from a diurnal snake into a teenager snake - he used to be out all day from about 9am to 7pm then that was it, he went to bed... now we don't see him up until 11/12 and he's still wandering about at 10pm :O lol.
I am using my 'regular' excuse to explain weird behaviour... Oh he must be heading into blue... but nothing as yet (although he does have a tiny bit of damage to some of his ventral scales so I am genuinely hoping he is!!) |
