Hello everybody;)

Am shortly to be getting my 2 Hognose Snakes, 1 x normal male and an albino female.
i have read that keeping them both in the same tank will be fine which i am happy about... what are you thoughts on the matter??
And what sort of effect does this have in the breeding season? as this is what i am planning....
Thanks for looking!!

Lee ;)

Yes, keep them seperate. Plus baby hoggys are tiny so the viv is massive for them
Best to buy two faunariums until they are big enough (Wilkinsons sell them for £5.50). If the heat mat is big enough you could run both fauns on the same mat and stat.

Waiting until they are adults is the best advice. The male may try to mate with the female before she is old enough and this cause complications for her.

Congrats on getting the hoggies though and welcome to the site

No they are babies, maybe not such a good idea until they are of breeding age would you reccomend??

Hello Koitattoo, welcome to the forum.

Are they adults? As I wouldn't try keeping them together while they are young. As adults you should be fine, but you need to watch out for problems and feed separately
