I haven't seen a wesbite on hognoses that's local for me, so I thought I'd bother you Europeans with my annoying American thoughts/comments/questions and photos : )

So, I just got my first western hognose snake, and I LOVE her. I named her copper (at first I assumed she was a boy, but after the reptile show I got her from I figured out she was a girl). She is supposedly a year old or so. She is a GREAT eater...has eaten everything, and she is SO sweet. She's only flared and flopped over dead once, and that was the first day we brought her home when my basset hound got a little too close *lol*

I'm just getting into snake genetics...meaning I have no clue about anything at all. I'd like to breed her though. What do you guys think would be a good specimin for a male? I love the white and black hognoses...don't even know what those are called!
ANyway, nice to meet you!
